DataWave is a software company registered in Mauritius. We bring AI, automation and modern software to companies whose most important work still depends on manual review, spreadsheets and long hours.
Ledger, our IFRS conformance toolkit for audit teams, is the first product built on that mission.

Put AI to work where the work is.
A large share of professional work is still exacting, repetitive and done by hand: reading hundreds of pages, checking them against thousands of rules, filling cells one at a time. It is where senior people lose their best hours, and where mistakes are most likely.
DataWave exists to take that first pass off their desks — with systems that show their evidence, respect the formats teams already use, and leave the final decision with the professional who signs.

Founder-led, on purpose.
DataWave is deliberately small. The engineer who designed Ledger's architecture and AI pipeline is the same person who scopes your deployment, answers your questions and ships the fixes.
There is no hand-off between sales, account management and engineering, and no ticket lost between teams. When you raise an issue, you are talking to the person who can resolve it.
Where a project calls for hardware, IT infrastructure or security on site, we work with an established local partner.

Jonathan Layduhur
Founder & Lead Engineer
Jonathan is an AI and data engineer trained at EPITECH in Paris, where he completed a Master in Computer Programming. As part of that degree, he spent an Erasmus year specialising in artificial intelligence at the University of Calabria, Italy, studying machine learning, CUDA GPU programming, process mining and statistical methods for data science.
Before founding DataWave, he built production software for companies in France and across Europe: a vehicle transport platform operating in nine languages with integrated payments, CRM and lead-distribution platforms for B2B teams, and an AI recommendation engine for travel agencies. As a tech lead, he ran a team of three developers and owned the full technical architecture.
At DataWave, he owns Ledger end to end — architecture, backend, AI pipeline, interface, deployment and on-premise delivery.

Before you ask.
Is DataWave a large company?
No, and that is a deliberate choice. DataWave is founder-led. You deal directly with the engineer who built the product, which means faster answers and fewer intermediaries.
What happens to our deployment over time?
In on-premise mode, Ledger runs inside your own infrastructure. Every run is frozen against the checklist version it used and recorded in a full audit log, so historic engagements remain reproducible.
Do you only work with audit firms?
No. Ledger is built for audit firms and finance teams, but we also take on custom engagements: AI and automation for document-heavy workflows, and software development, from web applications to websites. Tell us what you are working on.
Can you handle the hardware and IT side too?
Yes, through our partner ITSec Ltd, which covers IT infrastructure, hardware and IT security in Mauritius.
Which languages do you work in?
